My 14 year old Sons AC (CD 200 Honda)

Post by Bad Ass Bob »

I am a proud Dad,(Candy included ) :hangloose:

while out riding with my youngest son and Candy, i decided to stop and check out the rolling chassis of a motor cycle, apon closer investigation we were told by the owner that he had another bike complete as well as spares, including a motor , after sleeping on it, i contacted the owner and asked how much ? the answer we got was R2500, we haggleled, and a price of R2300 was agreed, INCLUDING PAPERS Aaron drew the cash from his account and did the deal!we collected it yesterday in the failing light of monday evening, after getting home from work and helping Aaron, with the help of my friend Mark, we procedded to push start the bike down the road, with it coughing and spluttering after standing for 3 years !SHE LIVES !!!!!!!!! WE go to sleep tonight knowing my sons dreams WILL come true, he proved it to us !! :hangloose: :hangloose: :hangloose:

Great stuff!

I had a Honda CD200 Road Master as a student. They're perfect for a youngster to learn on as they can take an enormous amount of abuse. When I was done with mine I gave it to my younger brother. He brought it to me one day making a peculiar shrieking noise from the engine. When I checked it out I found less than 100ml of oil in the engine. After filling it up with fresh oil it fired right up and the noise had gone and there appeared to be no other ill effects. :hangloose:

Very cool! I just bought a 1976 Honda CB550 Super Sport. Lots of fun.
