Greeting oh wise ones.
I came across a "47 Ford Anglia for sale. My limited knowledge on the car lead me to asking you guys, as I'm more than sure somebody knows a bit to help.
How much are they worth paying for?
2. How hard are they to maintain?
3. Is it worth "investing" in?
4. Are parts available easily and readily?
The car is driving and legal. So it seems legit, to my unskilled eye it looks complete and original from the pictures.
Its a 3 speed manual rwd. Will post a pic soon as I can.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: advice on a 1947 Ford Anglia
You will find bits in the UK, but maybe a little harder to find here.
That sidevalve 4 is never going to make much power - they were good for 100kph or so max (even that may be ambitious)
Was never a problem in the UK as the vacuum wipers stopped working at about 60.....so they could go faster than that 3 days a year
This was a postwar budget car in the same vein as Beetle, 2CV, Topolino etc.
They are small too.
Depends what your needs are - but I'd be hotrodding it!!
