No Brian I wanted to avoid that if at all possible. The biggest problem with these VNT systems is if they don't get enough excercise :D
Wide open throttle in 3rd or 4th up a hill will allow soot to burn away that would otherwise accumulate from very modest driving. Too low EGT's are not good for these turbos.
