Who would be able to assist in fabricating a new exhaust for my beetle the current standard one is very noisy when travelling at highway speeds?

Also confirm that the two "sound blocking cushions" in the rear pillars are still in place.
Often these would cause rust spots, and were removed if bodywork/ respray was done on a beetle. In a twincarb application, the result would then be direct open passages from the aircleaners into the interior. The "induction roar" would then reach painful irritating high levels inside the car. Especially at highway speeds. (Been there).
When repacing these sound-blocking cushions, its best to first dry them out and then wrap in plastic to prevent absorbing rust-causing moisture.
