My birthday present

Post by fig »

I picked this up this evening. My birthday present from me and mrsfig!

It's an early 1970 Westfalia, owned by one family since new. It has a great story to go with it and best of all I sniped a notorious exporter who was trying hard to get it.

More pics and story after the kamp-out this weekend.

Very very very nice sir...... Congratulations !

Looking forward to seeing it in the metal. Did you manage to get copies of pictures of it in action with the PO?

Oh that's lovely fig. Congratulations man! LOVELY! That and your DC low light are fantastic! Looks quite deluxe too! Is that deluxe bling a later addition or did they come out like that?

Well now... is it the light in here or am I going an odd shade of envous green :)

I would love to see more photies of your Westy!
