New addition to the family....

Post by Klaus »

Getting back into the groove of all things aircooled after not been very focused for a while.

My new addition to the family is Mel the Cabrio, I am sure we gonna have lots of fun :)

Nice car, congrats.
Previous owner made some hefty statements to me regarding this car and his facts were way out. He offered to me as a 63, I pointed out that it was not possible due to many late 60's early 70 features, this did not go down well with him..... Told me he owned it from 1970 and did a few changes, I pointed out that he must have changed 90% of the car, to which he stopped short of calling me ignorant and knowing nothing.
I hope you paid a lot less than what he claimed it was worth.

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

Nice ride, congrets!

Question, those backlights I have never seen before. Stange (in a good way) to see something like that. Is it also an SA item or just made by the former owner?

Greetings

All SA beetles had those tail lights from 1974 to 79
