That statement brought back memory's for me,,,,

We where on the Plots in Halfway House ( now Midrand) and with high wind and the Transvaal heat, the entire veld around us was burning.

Got the Fire dept. called, which arrived 2 hours later, drove right to the edge of the fire, all jumped out to get the hoses fitted, and watched the firetruck roll into the flames.

We rushed to their aid, and put their fire truck out, but not before all the fire hoses where burnt out.

We made an agreement with them, that we would put our own fires out, and they will have the brakes fix with the rest of the damage.

Thanks for that,

Herman

I love this build...wish I had a fire truck :)
I' just glad I'm not the one who has to use that ladder...I can imagine it's quite hard to control when it's extended.

Thanks man
Ja that ladder is really heavy, I think it would still be safe to use, it is still nice and solid - but I would prefer to use a modern aluminium ladder myself ...

Thanks Eugene. I am glad I could watch it after missing it on tv.

Before watching it I thought we would only see it for a second or so in the background....

Nice one Paul!
