Are you planning on keeping the original fuebox? or upgrading to a blade type fusebox?

1969 wiring diagram.

Take it fuse by fuse and follow the wires then youll see it starts getting easier to sort out which wires go where
Theres 3 circuits thats not applicable to Sa bugs
1.F which is a double brakelight switch. We only have 1 brakelight switch with a solid black coming from the fusebox to the switch and a black/red going from te switch to the rear main harness
2 .K7 is a warning light on the dash for the brakelights
3.H5 is a buzzer for doors open or lights on .

Thanks buggyfan i was tempted to put a blade fuse box in
but i think the beetle needs ceramics just part and parcel of a beetle
i can remember always bumping the bloody things in my baja and
all of a sudden having no lights.

Hi I have a couple sets of window winders if interested.
But you would have to take a set left and right
