Ok, I've finally got around to taking a few pics. Rui, you might be interested to see the car that all your bits and pieces have been strapped onto over the past couple of years
The wheels are 13" golf 2 mags, the first mags I was able to get under the rear skirts after the disk brake conversion - I think they actually look pretty good though She does still sport the glass bumpers that I got her with which I'm looking to perhaps treat with a chrome paint technique and she's got a stock 1600TP engine. This is her 'better' side - the other side is suffering from a hit and run in a car park - still saving for the repair!

Ja, the paint job was done about 9 years ago. From what I remember it was a VW colour called 'wildfire' red. Not sure re the rims - a mate of mine got them off an auction so I don't know what the actual donor vehicle was. They are silver with a metalic blue contrast.
Do I need to lower the front hey calooker? Any thoughts?

The raked look when the front is slightly lowered would def. have the wheel tucking in nicely under the fender, and looks cool.
Need to consider pros and cons before you do any hacking ie: it's a 59 "classic" but hey, if it were mine I would have done it already
