how to wire a tachometer
got a sp tachometer how do i wire it to my beetle .

The SP tach is current sensing it should be wired into the supply wire to your coil. + from ognition to tach and then from tach to coil. The SP tach thread should have all the details.

So?.....I've got a needle!!!,....how do i get the "thread" to how to wire this "SP" tacho to my ghia. I hear things like in series and some. Wire from the ignition into tach and then outto the coil ??.
There are some diagram but I could not open it,...suspect it would help

Thanks Tony,....I got to this lot of Tony Bishop. There are 4 images,...I could open all except the one for the revcounter.
Pulling it open with the fingers on the I-pad I can make out it isforthe revcounter,.... but quality goes for a ball of sheet.
Is there a way of opening this particulas image with something else?,......ps my expertise with I-pad goes not far more than opening ,closing and getting to the forum!!!
