Can someone please help me
So i have replaced my fuel pump because there was no fuel leaving the pump. There is still no fuel coming from the new pump and the fuel reaches the pump and there are no blockages in the fuel line after the pump

Did you test the old or new pump out of the engine? Pressing the lever down and letting it go should create a vacume in the inlet enough to get your finger stuck tight to the pipe

Simon, refit the fuel pump to the motor, make sure engine in Neutral etc. Pull off the hose that runs from the fuel pump to the carburetor at the carburetor end. Use a 19 spanner on the alternator/generator nut and turn the engine over the way it goes (clockwise). You should get fuel being pumped out of the hose by the fuel pump.
if you say the fuel is getting to the pump, is it a constant stream? Get a jug, and see if it flows constantly for 1 to 2 minutes. This will confirm there's no vacuum problem or a fuel filter blockage issue.

I once had a similar issue caused my a corroded needle and seat in the carb. The pump put the pipe to the carb under such pressure it caused a pinhole and a high pressure stream of fuel, which ignited. Luckily I was able to put out the fire before any harm was done.
Another thing to check is that there are 2 types of fuel pumps, with different length pushrods. Maybe your new pump needs the longer pushrod?

You probably have the incorrect spacer under the pump, or a double spacer.
take the pump out and measure to the cam, turn the engine till you get the longest stroke( deepest length)
Now measure the pump from mounting base to wear point on the lever on the pump.
If this is correct with the spacer, then you problem is in the pump.
If the measurements do not tally, then you need to adjust the spacer accordingly.
Normally the problem will be in the pump, unless you have the incorrect pump, or someone has changed the spacer.
Test the pump in the fuel line with the pump out, and work the lever up and down, if the pump pumps fuel, then the pump is fine.
You could have a dirty filter in the tank outlet as well.
