Found that my relay is very slow and the instrument light only worked on the hazards and only one flash on the indicator stalk.
Opened the case for the relay and now nothing works.
What is the replacement relay for this system and where can I get it ?.
Mine has the four pin type with a piggyback terminal to the instrument lamp.

Re: Indicator Relay
Super hard to find originals. Volkspares sell new repops R500+. I used a generic over the counter one as suggested by the guys on here. Works fine
More than meets the eye!

Re: Indicator Relay
I'm using a generic, which does work, but I find the actual "lights on" a little too fast. I'd like to get a slower flick that stays on a little longer. Any ideas? (And no, all the bulbs are good, it's not that double speed flick when a bulb's out, just a standard timer, but the lights on timer is too fast for my liking.)

Re: Indicator Relay
I got a generic from Diesel Electric which has terminals 31, 49 49a which is similar to the diagram I have of the original . I assume you merely join the dash light to 49a together with the connections to the indicators ?

Which generic one is it? You getting varying qualities in the aftermarket range.acpaterson wrote: ↑Thu Jun 08, 2017 7:12 pm I'm using a generic, which does work, but I find the actual "lights on" a little too fast. I forget the name, but I think the ones I have used is Colehersee. This is the one to use. It's quality made in the USA, those Chinese relays are rubbish.
