Re: Front hub nut
No they are not the same. The front hub is fastened with 2 fine threaded nuts on each side with a lock washer between them. The left-hand side has an opposite thread. The inner nut tensions the front wheel bearings, while the outer nut locks everything in place with the lock washer. The inner nut takes a very low torque, literally a fraction more than hand tight. If you overtighten your front hubs you will quickly wreck the wheel bearings.

Re: Front hub nut
You don't have to replace the nuts to change the wheel bearing. I doubt you will be able to find the correct nut at a nut and bolt shop. Its a very fine pitch, but more difficult to find is the width of the nut. As Fig also mentioned, remember the one side is reverse thread.

Re: Front hub nut
In that case you will need 2 thin 27mm open spanners.
Ideally you should replace the lock washer with a new one but, since they're not easy to find, best be very careful when you straighten out the old one so you can reuse it.

Re: Front hub nut
One thin 27mm open spanner for the inner nut and a shifter for the outer works for me. Also, a new lock washer is supposed to come with the front wheel bearing kits. I always get one.
