Not sure what a bulk head fitting is.
The hole is only 6mm and a sharp 90 degree. Do you think bigger diameter and not such a restricted 90 degree could solve the leak

a bulkhead fitting is a fitting designed to go through a bulkhead or a firewall.
something like

On yours, if keeping the same setup, I'd go up to 3/4" (19mm) for the 90deg and the entry into the filter and then step down to match your current piping which should be around 1/2" or larger

I dont know if the larger fitting will solve your leak, but it will go a good way to preventing it from being bigger than it needs/wants to be.

Bigger fitting same diameter as pipe and drove.
Fixed no oil pushing out.
