Karmann Ghia bodywork needed
Does anyone know of a rust removal expert capable of doing bodywork on my Karmann Ghia? I need someone in Cape Town.

Re: Karmann Ghia bodywork needed
I'll leave it up to the Cape Town guys to recommend someone.
Be very careful who you choose to do this and ensure they have KG experience. Karmann Ghias are notorious rust traps, particularly the double box sections in the sills, and they require significant expertise to repair them properly. Most workshops that take on "rust removal and repair" are of the scrape off the rust and gooi pap school of bodywork, with a nice, shiny coat of paint to hide their crimes. A proper job will not be cheap.
