oil cooler

Post by Vintage man »

Afternoon guys

Had my 1600 tp redone but oil leak from oil cooler.
So i fitted new seals and tightened it up so it does not leak.Ok now the question if its to tight does the seal restrict flow as they might be over tight,No oil leak now.

The main concern was that the bottom stud had a gap between the cooler and the actual oil tower that it bolts on.Does a spacer fit there or do you tight till they mate.

Tighten the nuts until the oil cooler bottoms against the housing. Just make sure you used the correct size seals.
