Pleae advise as to placement of the fuel pump as per attached photos?
Reliscensing in a new province and official at the road worthy test had a problem with its positioning?
Hasn't been a problem in previous tests.

It is very unsafe where it is, as it is open to be knocked off when traveling.

Also I think the main concern is the fact that it is not fixed (mounted ) to the body.

I normally place the filter under the body just as the pipe outlets the tank, and fix that with cable ties to the nearby body., then lead a good quality fuel hose into the engine compartment and mount the pump to the left side body work so that if it leaks it will not drip on the spark plugs but into the open tray and out.

This pump you need to mount to rubber or it will make a lot of noise.

Take two flat sections of rubber and mount the pump to one with bolt and nut. then place the 2nd rubber under the 1st rubber and mount this pack through both rubbers to the body.

Hope you come right.
