Tony,..thanks. This is really working my guts

Nitrile rubber ? Is this over the counter stuff or is it special?

Bearing man or any suggestion where to start sourcing?

Regards. Haans

Haans, I reckon it is normal for the cork seal to swell up a bit. Are you sure you don't have a small fuel leak on a pipe clamp somewhere (maybe around a filter)?

Nick if you go to a spares place such as Alert, or even Midas they sell the thick treated paper gasket sheets looks waxy but chemical and fuel resistant.

Take one or two layers and you should be fine.

Haans, I buy all different kinds of rubber and foam sheets at Sondor. There might be a branch PE with the automotive manufacturers there.

If you don’t come right I can send you piece

Nitrile rubber is fuel and oil resistant.
You should be able to get from bearing man or any good engineering supplier
