I had a big problem with my 911 --it was either to old or to sporty or--or--
Outsurance had no problems to help me. But I have not claimed so far, will probably get a surprise when I do claim.
cheers baron

Outsurance but the don't pay out what you bought it for thay give you book value if stolen + -R6000.00 .And accident thay will pay out + - R3000.00 that's what i know
It's not how fast you get there it's how you look when you arrive.

Depends how you use it. Savva helped me out BIG Time , but only for club/social use.

Just switched from Outsurance to them. Thanks to whoever posted the link for SAVVA. Much appreciated!

Try Indwe , my parents have been with them for over 30years. I took my beetle to a beetle shop in benoni to have them give an estimate of the cars worth, and sent it to Indwe they then covered me for the total amount.

Outsurance offers a similar service, provided you can supply them with a valuation certificate from an accepted authority.

I have my Ghia with Indwe for R500 a year, fully comprehensive ;) I used to have a Lotus 7 with them as well, and when some dude in a 4x4 reversed into me at a roadblock, I got a quote to fix, and they paid out (minus excess - which was admittedly quite high) no problem. Havent had a claim on the Ghia though, so not 100% what would happen if I gave them a hefty bill for imported CIP1 parts :P

I am with GLENRAND MIB. They have a special policy for old vehicles. It costs me R4,100 a year for my 1964 Porsche 356 and my wifes 1980 280SL. Have never had to claim, so dont know how they pay out. They want a valuation certificate, and in the case of the Porsche I need to be a member of the Porsche club.
