Guys have gotten Speedo's from speedhut with no problems.
Do you want just a speedo or are you looking for more? Like say a Data logger as well. The GPX pro can do speed, gear change lights, revs, oil pressure, oil temp, G's and so much more at a reasonable price.... easily available locally... http://www.xtracing.com/en/gpxpro/index.php

Personally I am thinking about going with a Race Technology dash... http://www.race-technology.com/dash2_2_31.html
From fastest to slowest:

Birkin race car, not much is standard
Lotus Elise 111R, almost everything is standard
'75 SP 1600 with a few mods
B8 A4 Avant tdi, towing made easy

Interesting but I don't know if that is the look I'm going for. Looking for something like this.

Look at the Autometer range. They got some nice gear.
No, not the Auto-gauge you get locally in SA, look at the real stuff.
