Fitting a 2L golf motor in a 2.1 Caravelle

Hey guys. I'm busy fitting a 2L golf motor in a 2.1 Caravelle. The problem I'm having is hight under the engine cover as the carb is to high. Anyone with suggestions?

You have to get the extended cover used on the 5 cyl busses for the intake/carb to clear if you fit the Golf motor . VW still sold them new (about a year ago) or get one from your local scrappy they are just spot welded on and you use your existing lid.
My biggest fear is that my wife sells my cars for what i told her they cost !!

So Where are the Pics of the Finished Product?
Adapterplates Available for Rotary in Beetle and others aswell
