Spotted this standing in the shadow of the tower(in Brixton)

If you look at the nr plate it gives you an idea of how long ago it must have since being driven.

Nope, 'Euro-spec' tail lights are mounted higher up on the rear fenders

Dont know about the euro spec,if you zoom in you can see the taillight spacers.
With regard to getting,i dont think so.just look it still has an old b&w freestate nr plate.

I've toyed with the idea of asking after that Beetle, but haven't done anything. Given the number of "is that Beetle for sale" requests I get about my Beetle/s that are only visible from the road when my gate's open, I imagine they've heard it all before.

Wasn't me....I tried twice in 2018 and once in 2019, with no luck.

Forgot about it afterwards

Probably got chopped for spares as it was quite rough.
