Man... that DC is lovely. I love that little trailer too. Is any of that for sale? Those Autovillas also look very good!

Ruth 62, I think is quite a clever name for a Barrydale trailer. Isn't that the same design as the one that Fig picked up in Port Alfred?

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

Yes, that trailer is the same as the one I got last year. They are very cool trailers, built by Trek-Bar of King William's Town, and based on the Westfalia Essen trailer. I'm busy rebuilding mine, and it's costing me a lot more than the trailer is worth, but I can't wait to tow it behind my campers.

Sean, was there an Autovilla gathering in Barrydale?

The only ACVWs I've ever seen in Barrydale were my own ...

No gathering, they all belong to Mark.

It was quite interesting checking those autovilla's, although from the outside they all appear to be the early variety; they are all unique inside in terms of the cupboard and door arrangements.

Checking out mechanicals was interesting too, but obviously won't know if original, but they all had different gearboxes, 1600, 1800 and 2000 between them, the one didn’t even have a brake boosted setup. If I remember correctlythe one bus had the executive interior in the cab, parcel shelves and "wood" trim etc, I think it was the latest bus of the lot.

Regarding busses in Barrydale, there are a few. You just need to go to the more undesirable part of town.
