I spotted this parked outside Joe's in Linden, Jhb yesterday:

LHD, and that extension in front looks like a spare wheel cover... (and not some steam-sprayer conversion) :lol:
Staying Aircooled is so much nicer.
Do'nt assume anything- (While doing fault-finding).

Yes, it's a spare wheel mount and cover. That was a factory option on late bay westies. Also lengthens the front crumple zone.

Same bus. There is an old lady that drives it around the westrand area. Hopefully one she will reply to one my notes on her windscreen :)

I have seen this bus several times along the Hendrik Potgietser road. The lady has my number as well :D
