Yes I know and totally agree, let me just explain my offer - I'm really only interested in the pistons/cylinders.

And of course I'm a cheap skate

This is what you will be getting with the engine... so it's almost a install and go for a beetle t1 to t4 conversion

-Points distributor
-Plug leads
-Ignition coil
-STD oil cooler
-Upright fan conversion crankshaft pulley
- 5x STD type 4 carburetors with intake manifolds
- Home made upright fan housing, needs some trimming and bracket
- Generator and fan, condition of gennie unknown
- 2lt flywheel and pressure plate
- 2x Exhaust manifolds

I installed the carbs, exhaust manifolds and distributor tonight and fired her up. She fired up one time with good oil pressure straight away. I'll leave everything hooked up, so the engine can be started.

Hi

3. Exhaust sisteem
4. Die carbs wat saam die enjin gaan is hopeloos te klein vir max performance, so iets soos 'n stel 40mm idf or individual throttle bodies kan help
