DIY Powder Coating supply's, no more, but Ind. plants

Post by retrovan »

Hi Guys,

Edited;- Do not make DIY systems anymore, due to lack of interest, do how ever still build industrial plants on "Turn-Key" basis.

Not many know that I not only manufacture Heavy Duty Trailers, but also design and build Powder coating and wet spray plants.

I have been asked by a discount tool distributor to make a Mini DIY home curing oven for the Baking of Powder coating.
It is 800 mm by 800 mm by 800 mm so can easy fit big rims into it.

So now I can offer this equipment to you the forum guys, and also be the 1st in South Africa to sell you only 1KG bottles of powder coating powder, this is normally only available in 20 Kg boxes, and who can afford to pay for 20 Kg if you only need 1 or 2 kilos.

So many colour, is now possible, and can be shipped to you by courier or parcel post

We can therefore supply you with a Powder spray gun, as well as Curing Oven and also the powder.

Here are some of these photo's

Hi HR, the oven at this moment will top out at 280 Deg. C

But can be set higher with different controller, will then run to 450 Deg. C ( insulation value)

My powder will cure from 160 to 180 Deg. C but other makes need to run at 220 Deg. C

If you need one for Ceramics, let me know, I can build you one to go to 1400 Deg. C ( insulation value)

Ceramics ovens run from 660 to 1280 Deg. C if my memory serves me right.

You will probably need the same electrical supply as to your kitchen oven or does it run on 3 phase?
The only substitute for cubic inches are more cubic inches.

Hi Guys,
Well the DIY system was developed for Ardendorffs, as they imported a DIY gun and we where going to supply the oven and powder.
The oven runs off 220 v AC ie from your normal plug, and heats up in approx. 15 min.
As I have not costed the parts of late, I can not tell you the cost of building an oven now days.
The high cost is in the high temp insulation.
So unless you use the oven for more then DIY, it will be cheaper to have your stuff done by a Powder coater.
