Thanks Alan! :lol: I might feel less guilty about the cursing!
Progress report: Electric fundi says all components working fine but there is some play on the distributor shaft and it looks like electronic pick up might be wobbling.
Next plan: Chucking out electronic ignition and putting back old dizzy, coil and points. If he/she still full of sh*t then I might just be tempted to break the kiddies piggybank and phone Buggger for one of his sexy subassemblies!! :lol: :lol:
