1968 Porsche 911T

Hi guys. Im restoring a 68 911t. Some had tried to "modernise" it by fitting 930 bumpers to this timeless beauty and did a real crappy job at it.
I would like to get all the original parts like front fenders with nose grilles and the bumpers front and rear.
This poor car suffered lots of abuse because the doors were just fibre filled and the welding or attempt thereof really sucks.
Anybody out there that has a remote chance of having such parts up for grabs or in storage somewhere?

I will post pics later as Im at work right now.

You lucky SOB.. Good luck with the build..
I used to import a number of parts from Sierra Madre. You should contact them for some bits as I doubt you'll find much locally.

Thanks Alan...you're a star. I will try to source some parts there if possible. My 68 has a set of cookie cutter rims at the moment...im contemplating fitting a set of 15inch fuchs or jus go with with a set of 356 steelies. can you share your opinion?

Thanks for the valuable opinion on the wheels. Good news is, I sourced two period correct front wings albeit with a bit of swiss cheese rust throughs but nothing major. Alas, no horn grilles or turn signal lens or holders were included...I guess I was too optimistic...lol
Will keep you guys posted as the project develops
