Paint Colour / History

Post by Stirlingmoz »

Hi, can anyone help me with the paint colour or any information about my ex South Africa crewcab.

It used to have the registration number TPM619C.

So far I’ve discovered it was made in Germany in November 1975 but assembled and sold in South Africa in January 1976.

It was imported to the UK in January 2017 and I’ve just managed to get it back on the road. (It didn’t have any dropsides when imported)

Thanks

Pete

Please note, South African colours were not the same as the German colours.

These were painted and upholstered here in SA so German info will not help you.

Here is a colour code sheet, maybe it will help you.

234B refers to the Fleetline kombi:

Thanks for the reply.

The body is definitely yellow with a white roof.

The interior looks like it’s still the original brown too.

First 5 digits of chassis number 26620

Thanks again,

Pete
