Thanks for the compliments!

I was thinging I might. I've always liked the look of black (or the colour the car is) and cream rims. The style does lend itself to looking superb with white-walls though :hangloose:

I'm *hoping* I'll have a roof rack soon too

Update time!

Sidebar: yes, yes I've been away for quite some time now. The truth is that I'd left my old job (at FHM) about three months ago and am now working for a friend of mine in a completely different line of work altogether. Things are going extremely well but in so being, I haven't time to log on all that often these days :( There is good news though; both my ACVWs are still very much part of my life and are being loved and worked on all the time :D The bus is better than ever! - Lots happened there like dog-house cooling conversion, new (SUPERB) engine bay wiring (Thanks Bill), new alternator, new dizzy and professionally rebuilt 34 PICT-3 Carb'. That van runs like a Swiss watch and is used ALL THE TIME! :D

I haven't gotten Daisy back as yet but I'm really hoping it'll be soon. Joggie has been sending me pictures of all the updated work he's been doing and I must admit it's looking quite amazing! Apparently he's battling a bit to re-install the windows with the new rubbers and OG chrome beadings. Afaik, that is the last "big thing" to have to be done and then I should have it back. I have every confidence so all being well, soon there'll be pics of the final product :hangloose:

Until then, here are a few teasers

Thanks a million Retrobug! That parcel shelf is very handy. You probably know that they came in bamboo too. Personally I like the metal one for '60's bugs. Have a hunt - you're sure to find either I'm sure :D
