Auction: old advertising signs , 1 May - PICS

Those who have been to De Oude Werf/Toy Train in Meyerton, will know that this is quite a collection -
Old Enamel Advertising Signs and General Auction
1 May 2010

Our next auction will take place on 1 May 2010. The main attraction will be the ± 80 Old Enamel Advertising signs. There will also be some old machinery, shelves for diecast toys and other general items. If you have items that you want to place on auction please feel free to contact us. The enamel signs will be on the website soon and the auctionlist will be ready about a week before the auction. Please let me know if you want me to keep you updated regarding the auction.

UPDATE 12/03/2010

I popped in at OudeWerf this morning, and took a few pics of a small part of the stuff that is available (bumped into JohnHoffe as well :wink: ).

Yolandie said that she will forward a list of items available to those who request it (her contact details is in the initial thread), full pics should be available on their website some time next week.

She also said that those who want to bid on specific items, but who can't attend the auction, can contact her prior to the day, and make a maximum bid for the item, which will then be taken in consideration on the day.

The VW Service sign (item no 62) is awesome!

I think it was around 10, but perhaps you should phone Yolandie to confirm. If the weather prediction for the weekend is good, I'll be in Potch though.
