Tom....very tempting.....Vader, need your time at this week to go and see Sylvia's 69 beetle! when you free? It's near Bellville!

Might meet the misses half way...Baja is a buggy but also a beetle! Then cut the roof off and fit in a roll cage and I'm there!

OK so I need to give an update......

Chris has been an absolute star :hangloose: :drunks: and did find me a really great project. Problem is that when the permanent seatcover found out what I was about to do she hit the roof. :zhelp:

As I don't need another divorse at the moment, I can promise that the next project will not be a Buggy or even a Baja! :zhelp: :zhelp: :jerkoff:

So she sat me down and told me what I am allowed to look at  I listened very carefully this time

She wants an original convertible  - I told her no
Then she agreed that I could get a beetle and make it nice  :flash:

I also showed her Eugene's SC and she's thinking about that..... First question was "Where do the kids sit ?" My answer "Next to me!", Her response....."and me?"....."In the back?" ....she didn't laugh

Anyway.....I need to change the title of this thread now! and you can all stop laughing, I don't want any wise cracks about who wears the trousers....SHE DOES!....I just like an easy life thanks!

Anyway, I'm hoping to purchase a 1965 beetle next week but I'm still trying to get the guy to let me get it checked over before I buy. Vader I also need you at some point (I know I need to call you but works been a pile of :bn: ). I need to see Sylvia's beetle to see if I can use it as a donor car.

Also I will be hopefully starting a thread for free gifts in the next 2 weeks as now I'm not allowed a Baja, I have around 5 baja kits to give away which the seatcover has not seen yet! Barry might need to hide them!!!!!! :hangloose: Not sure if I'm brave enough to tell her I've bought them

Anyway.....peace and love to you all!

Remember NO WISE CRACKS!

We would have Frank, but felt sorry for you as it seems you've taken enough punishment as it is

Actually no it's not that, we're all just in awe of that massive member you seem to have there - would have thought you might have threatened to withhold certain "priveleges" until she became more receptive to the buggy idea though........

No wait it can't be   that either..................

Very witty!

Now I'm also pissed off as the 65 beetle I had my eyes on....has vanished from the dealer! I think my pissing in the wind has caused me to miss that too!

Yours even more unhappy.... :(

Like a very clever man once said "If you snooze, you lose!"

Don't worry. I've been there and done that and have a cupboard full of T-shirts to prove it. :D

There will be something else. Luckily there are still a few nice bugs around.
