Re: MY 76 beetle engin
The inside is standerd . I am in the proses of building a turbo engine as i discusted in the ac turbo post.It does not go to bad for a basicly standerd engine with 18 inch weels. Interresting sprayjob,I LIKE.

Hey Tony,
What paint job u talking about?? Not mine hey?? Mines all stripped at the mo and the gray was just primer to keep the rust off...
Btw, does that NOS really make u an extra 30KW?? or what power does that make??
Turbo will be great...

Re: MY 76 beetle engin
The grey venders actualy do not look bad.The NOS system on my bug is actually a 30 horse power system , not 30kw , but 100 hp (75kw ) on a turbo engine like i am building is not impossible.

Dont worry nothing happens over knight. I have owned my bug since 1988 and spent close to R100 000 on it to date.As long as you dont give up anything is possible. GTI red , black leather seats with red stitching , chrome weels , and and and . It all works for me.Goodluck

Re: MY 76 beetle engin

Re: MY 76 beetle engin
Wel , at R500 a refil its not cheap , or the R4000 for the kit with a empty bottle. Is it worth it , NO , do you want it , Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa !!!!. It is what they call wetshot. I am not shure how many kilometers you get out of a bottle but i am shure it depends on the jet sizes which in my case is very small.I can tel that you wil get less out of the bottle than what your car gets on a litre of fuel.

Re: MY 76 beetle engin
so your bottle has got a straw inside,my dad has two big tanks ful nos,so refil isnt a problem and ive seen kits at 3k...but ya got no plans for that now,i was just curious...i take it that yaaaaaaa means it puts you back in the seat...my dad always said that it feels if a putco bus hits you from behind,he had 100hp shot on his xr8 though...

Re: MY 76 beetle engin
Thats correct , and the bottle must be at a angle . I am shure 100hp on a V8 wil make a big differance. My frend has a 75HP kit on his V8 streetrod ( 1948 chev fleetmaster )and even on a 2ton car it feels good.
