So some time ago, I picked up this 57 from under a tree and gave it to my son. He worked on weekends and sold all his other stuff, like his racing bicycle, one bumper and some other goodies to fix her up. Took it to a for a respray and 4 months later I collected the bus and took it to another gent. Here are some before and after pics. Will post more as he gets down to the hard work. Oh by the way,....his bus..his money..he can do what he wants
"Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car, and oversteer, the rear. Hp is how fast you hit the wall, and Torque is how far you take the wall with you."
Remember last year when somebody wanted to swop a 64 beetle for his bus. Glad he decided to keep the bus.
Good to see the progress.
Is he going to assemble it himself?
Staying Aircooled is so much nicer.
Do'nt assume anything- (While doing fault-finding).

I'll help him but want him to do as much as possible

Looking good, Eugene! My only question is - since kids are so technologically knowledgeble these days - why don't you let him register on the Forum with his own username? (If he for example wins a raffle, it will give his project a healthy boost)
