Microsoft : the only company to exceed the VW's production of 22 million bugs. With the major difference that people actually liked VW's bugs. :D

Whoa... that bug looks great Vuyo! Kinda reminds me of 1950's Cosa Nostra!
The widened set looks good with the lowered stance of the car... I likes it, I likes it very much!

QUESTION!!!!!! :D

Ive been SO SO keen to do this very same mod on my car with the old school fenders ect...

one thing though, I have a 77 1600s, the wrap round windscreen bug (you know?)

will the bonnet and fenders work up front as in Vuyos' thread?

If so PLEASE ADVISE ME ON WHO HAS FENDERS LIGHTS BONNET ECT. I really want to get this up n going....

thanks. I see light at the end of the tunnel.

I always encourage people to mod their Bug according to their taste!!

BUT, this time I have to sya, in my personal opinion, the "Super Beetle" (with the curved windscreen and dashboard) will not look right with early fenders etc. As a matter of fact, I am not sure that the fenders will actually fit, but I stand corrected on this(I am NOT going outside in the rain to take fenders off a 60's look Beetle(and the 1303) to do the swap to confirm!!! )

But then again, it IS your Bug and go for it if you like!!

Actually zero, Ive just compared my cars bonnet to an early model, wont work....
the bonnet is shorter so thats out the question. :( but thanks for the swift reply.
but I think Ive got another trick, if it all works out maybe Ill just get another bug all together of that age. :hangloose:
