this is the size of the logo for your gear knob,

to give you an idea the ali block is 50 mm x 50 mmm so its quite small !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What primer have you used? Is there MS underneath that?

Yep there is. But only in the areas where body filler was used, and then grey was put over that. With all the related sanding done.
