hello everyone

I am a 28 year old guy from Cape Town.
I am a drummer for a metal band called V.O.L.!
I own a '74 beetle. Not my dream beetle, but it is cool.
Had it moderately restored and resprayed a Nissan blue. Forget the colours name. It lloks rad though. Had new interior too. Blue carpeting, white vinyl seats and door panels and new headliner. Not the ultimate job, but to my budget, it is awesome.

Lots more to do, plenty ideas, so i am just gonna squizz around and ask a few questions here and there. Hope you dont mind?

HAHAHAHA

well, at the moment, it is sprayed blue, riding on standard suspension, wheel and tyres.
I like to try different things to what everyone else does, so i am looking to keep the standard wheels and tyres but putting on white wall inserts; dropping the front like 2 inches, and maybe widening the rims a bit.

like to have my car have the look of a modern(ish) vintage type deal. because i like both styles

hi all, very much a newbie here! Name is Kevin (Cape Town), and i've just purchased a "not too dodgy" speedster replica that was originally built in 92'. Needless to say, i'm gonna need loads of help ;) From what i can tell, there's a whole lot of air cooled brain power here. look forward to being a member. Ciao
