It is a map of the world showing the driving directions for all countries and any changes that have occurred, beginning with Finland's change in 1858

RED - drives on right

ORANGE - drove on left, now drives on right

BLUE - drives on left

PURPLE - drove on right, now drives on left

GREEN - had different rules of the road within borders, now drives on right

so the significance of the picture is thus - that one little blue spot at the top there next to Europe, well that is the main reason we have RHD cars still...

wasn't for that then we would probably all be driving on the wrong side of the road...
