Hi guys
New here.
Just trying to find out what a standard beach buggy (1600 twinport) should get fuel wise. I need something to compate to in order to try set my buggy up properly.
What are you guys averaging in terms of fuel consumption?

Who cares. 
At one stage I was getting 7 km/litre before looking at the problem and then getting around 12.5 km/litre.
A buggy is all about driving in the open air not fuel consumption, unless excessive as mine was.

So that's around 47 metres at the old consumption, 81 metres at the new. Open air driving - gotta love it. How many bugs do you eat per 5c?hitlers revenge wrote:My 5c.

Whilst a buggy should, in theory, be more economical than a Beetle its overall consumption is actually not quite different from a Beetle due to the bad areodynamics. But as said, it all depends on driving style, wheel sizes, gearing etc. etc. etc. I agree - enjoy the open air driving and stop worrying
