Funny enough our kitchen porter at work is a rasta from Lyon, and he asked why they got that guy to sing, so first that guy sings and then we loose, needles to say I got taken the pi$$ out of all day.

the singing of the anthem was a complete joke. the bar i was at to watch the game went into a shocked silence then into an angry out burst.
My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."

My candidate nominations - SA artists who would sing the national anthem A LOT better! :flash:

1. Claire Johnston (she did a SUPERB performance a few years ago - for NZ and SA)

2. Shine4 (they won't sing it WORSE than the Rasta prick, and they'll look A LOT better!)

3. Louise Carver (have you HEARD this lady's voice??)

Watched the game(althoug it was not live. it was recorded). I was in shock. Seriously. Didnt anyone give this guy a 'test run'? FFS. I wont even comment on the game too much. Steyn getting a yellow card. Habana giving the guy on the floor the boot. Fumblings.... FFS, our Club rugby here makes less errors  "We" deserved to loose.... just a shame it wasnt a 'pak slae'!!!

But back to the point of this post.... Did you see with how much professionalism and PRIDE did the 'singer' for France sing the anthem? I had goose bumps, and felt proud for their sake!!!!

The Boks are realy playing bad at the moment.

But they've had a long season too,but that should not be an excuse.

It is an absolute joke, thanks to the greedy administrators. The length of the season is ridiculous. It stopped being about the game quite some time ago. It's all about the money. Was reading a while back John Smit is on a promotional/book signing gig till about 22 December. Training for the Super 15 starts on 8 Jan. No-one can sustain that level of intensity and be expected to perform at their peak continuously......
