I've been reading up, and it seems an engine brace will more or less accomplish the same thing with regards to wheel-hop...

At what engine size should you start worrying about bent frame horns - or does something else do this?

...care to bring me back a KCB next time you're here Tony? :D

you dont have to worry about bending the frame horns.... its used to stop the gearbox moving all over the place and snapping itself into many peices

I'm already buying uprated gearbox mounts, and will fit an engine brace.

Where exactly does the brace go? *scratches head*

The one I'm ordering is simply a flat chromed bar with two long bolts.

should bolt to your bumper mounts and support the engine from underneath, to stop it twisting (also keeps the gearbox from twisting). I think some kits come with a section that bolts to your case or oil pump cover, not too sure on that tho
