THE PROJECT IS BACK ON!!

After some serious soul searching after my previous fit of drama, I've decided to see this project through.

I took the other (standard) Fasty for a spin, on my own, this weekend and have come to the realization that yes, I still want a fastback in my life and would love to drive my car with those uber comfy Porsche seats, with a nice mild 2.1 litre Type 4 etc etc regardless of how long it takes to finish this build. At this point, I'd rather finish this car instead of buying a Golf or any other project ACVWS...

The most valuable part of this two year lesson is that I have learnt how to tackle a project in the proper manner and hopefully, can put all these lessons to good use for my next project.

I've come to realise that once the aircooled bug bites you, there is no turning back, regardless of how pissed of you get with the car, you still get drawn back into the deep pit of (money sucking) darkness.

So yes, right now priority is to finish it off, with hopefully no distractions from ladies or other potential project cars.

Wish me luck. It's all the small things that need to be done to get this thing running.

Just one more setback in the never-ending Fastback Chronicle...

Thanks again to all the ACVWSA members' support. And a special mention to a certain fellow fastback lover for giving me a serious motivational. You know who you are

But.

One day my fasty will have a set of Cookie Cutters :deflag:

Sometime back, I'd mentioned that I sent a set of lenses to be sprayed full red. Well, after so many months, I finally got them back today and they are looking awesome!! I LOVE FULL RED LENSES! :D
After seeing how they look on the other fasty, I'm so motivated to get my car done. Amazing how a set of lenses can drive me crazy! Right now, I'm taking things one step at a time. My room floor has the bits and pieces that need to go onto the car on the floor, neatly marked. I'm going to start on one area, finish that then move on...
