Radio Marshal
The old couple that owns this Bus bought it back in 1974.The owner is a radio amateur that travels all around the country with his Bus that has a bed and the most important things like a little fridge and his 4 radios.
The owner told me that he has changed the engine 3 times since he has owned it but will never sell it.

Re: Radio Marshal
Think he made the whole "marshal" thing up.
Maybe he just drives around with his radios chatting to his wife like......kan jy my nou hoor?..........en nou?...................en nou?................................................................................................en nou?

Re: Radio Marshal
The font used for the radio marshal sticker is the same as the font used on VW ads and in the auto pavillion?

Re: Radio Marshal
google nor wikipea can help with the explanation of a Radio Marshal, closest I got was a Rally Marshal, that's the guy that signals crowds, spectators and other vehicles that are on the way to move off before the rally cars come through. And they usually just need a 2way and a whistle. Not a fully equiped bus...

Re: Radio Marshal
OK,let me clear up the mystery.
He goes to motorsport events and also airshows. That is why he uses different types of radios. He can communicate with everyone at the same time without having to switch one radio over to a different frequency.
Planes, cars, traffic control, police, security and observers all use a diiferent types of radios and he needs to hear everyone. He also needs to be in different places like Swaziland and Botswana where he has to travel with the show.Sleeping over in hotels are not realy an option,so the Bus it is.
