Reviving the Platinum Beetle Club in Rustenburg

Post by LadyHooligan »

I've been looking at some old newspaper clippings again. In 2003/4 I was one of the founder members of the Platinum Beetle Club in Rustenburg, but I was in a buggy smash and the club has since gone into a coma.

However, a few people have recently asked me whether we don't have a ACVW club in Rustenburg, so I reckon it's time to get this patient going again! I must admit that I haven't the foggiest clue where to start, so if there's anyone out there with some experience in getting a club going and keeping it active, I'd really appreciate the advice!

O yes, and if there are any Rustenburgers on this forum interested in joining up, please drop me a note! Maybe we can get in contact and do something really radical!

It's a bug thing... you wouldn't understand!

At the end of the day there is always some amount of infighting. Just do what the "Cape Town Collective" do and that is be very informal. Make some calls or post some posts with a time and date for a get together and your "a for away".

Having presidents and secretarys as well as club fees is too much.
