The steelies might have to go... they are 16" and the semis easaly available is 15". We might change the wheels to the same bbs reps as on my red beetle. It just makes it easier for backup at the track.

Here's a little update on "EX" herbie. The body shell was sand blasted, all the rust repaired and now painted in the same colour scheme as my beelte.

We're still busy with the engine, the gearbox has been assembled by Bugger with a shorter 3rd and 4th gear ratio. I dont think she'll be ready fo piper though, but we will try.

The roll cage was that the one that was in the bug ?
