Look under your split bus...

... and tell me how the handbrake cables run.
From what I can see, they come over the bottom of the lever and travel in chassis holes to the back.
At the drum (which looks like it needs to come off) the spring goes inside and the outer sheath butts up against the drum.
What I need to know is how where the other end of the sheath is fastened to the chassis. Is it supposed to butt up against one of the chassis cross members?
If I can work that out, it should be pretty simple from there...

As far as under the leaver, and through the chassi holes, that is correct...the rest I have to check for you. :)

IIRC, there should be the end of a tube visible somewhere on one of the cross members. I can't check on a bus until after work.

You need to feed the cable in from the back of the bus.

Thanks, I think the tube is part of the cable. I realised I need to fit the tube in between the drum and the chassis somewhere and feed to both sides from there, but cant see where the 'front ' end goes into the chassis...... a pic would be great if not too much trouble..
