Any good mechanics in North Riding, Jhb, area?

Morning all!

My second post! My Mom lives up north and drives my late Dad's '63 Beetle and her own '72 Beetle. Not bad for an 84-year old lady. But here's the thing: I think she's being ripped blind by her current garage - they've changed owners 3 times in 2 years, as an indication. I've asked her to fax me invoices for the period, but I estimate both cars have cost over R15 000 in services over these 2 years. In the same time, I doubt she's driven more than 2 000km. This is not lekker on a municipal pension - and I'm tearing my hair out here in CT, feeling very powerless in the situation.

She lives in a retirement village in North Riding. Can anyone recommend any mechanics out that side of Johannesburg, like Strijdom Park? Your help will be hugely appreciated!

Maurice Rosen has a workshop in Strydom Park called Auto Rosen. His knowledge of all matters aircooled is immense. On top of that he's a topcalss guy, always friendly and I've been very happy with his service.
He recently serviced my 1969 BMW 2002 as well and it's running like a rocket. He sorted out a Carb niggle that"s been irritating me and a few other mechanics for a while.
