Apology: Kaapse Kombi Kult T-shirts

Post by fig »

Volks

It seems there's a problem with the new run of Kult T-shirts that we were selling at last weekend's kamp-out. The image on my own T-shirt started cracking and coming off during the first wash! :(

After the poor quality of our first run of T-shirts I was determined to get only the best this time, using 200g shirts and high quality screen printed images, which cost significantly more than the last ones.

I don't know whether the problem is poor quality inks or incorrect curing, but I'm very disappointed that they can only be worn once.

I've let the printers know and it seems like they will make good; we'll see early next week.

If they make good, I will replace all T-shirts bought at the kamp-out with new ones. If not, I will give full refunds to everyone and take the knock myself.

I assume this is an issue with all the T-shirts. If you bought any, please PM me.

:(

Well, it took a while, but I finally got the T-shirts back from the printers. It seems they didn't cure them properly. I've worn and washed mine a few times now and it's holding up as it should.

If anyone who bought the uncured ones wants to exchange their shirt for a new one, please PM me. I'll have the shirts at the Logo day on 28/5.

If you bought a shirt and haven't yet worn it, all you need to do to cure the ink is to iron it before wearing.

Yes, or iron it through a dish cloth or brown paper.
