WOW !i can't believe that a full gasket set for a beetle engine only costs R 78.00 plus vat ! :hangloose: :hangloose:

Kinda reminds me of a post I did a few years ago...

Important to still buy the white type pushrod-tube seals separately. Many of the red types of pushrod seals that come with the kits, are not resistant to oil and temperature, causing hardening resulting in oil leaks. The better white type is available from Juergen in Strand, Gerhard in Bloemfontein and many others.
Staying Aircooled is so much nicer.
Do'nt assume anything- (While doing fault-finding).
