w123 230e tank look

Post by PhantomPhondler »

st painted my w123 a few month ago. it is different... purists might not like it but i think it look nice, and the body and paint work look 100% better than what the car look like in the beginning (dents, bad paint, rust)

WOW! :hangloose: Love it!

They say after a nuclear holocaust, only two species would have survived:

thanks pine, and well said!

thats what inspired the theme. The w123 is build like a tank, so when I decided to spray it, i thought why not make it look like one too :P

I have a VERY soft spot for W123's, since I grew up in one and both my late grandfathers owned them as well. High up on my wish list for cars I still want to own one day is a W123 station wagon...

a few years ago i also had one , awesome cars, see how mean they look with a set of VW bullet hole rims, see there is one in you pics, and a set of 205R 14 off road tyres, run mine on a spare set i took of a syncro, looks like a 4X4 123, colour is great, both of mine were that light metallic green. think they called it Thistle green.

i also wanted and still would like a TE or the 2 door coupe, both a bit rare here in SA.
